Liberia YMCA Staff Undergo First Aid Training

The Liberia YMCA in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare
have begun a two day Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid training for
staff of the institution.
Twenty five staff of the Liberia YMCA are undergoing the emergency response training.
They are being trained in emergency CPR as First Responders to an emergency situation, especially cases where CPR is required.

At the end of the training participating staff will be certificated. The training is also a Training of Trainers (TOT) for the staff. The training began on August 2, 2018
Recently, the Monrovia YMCA provided similar training for over 25 volunteers intended to build their capacity to respond to emergency situations which requires the provision of CPR.
