The Liberia YMCA has received a Certificate of Recognition from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Liberia.

The certificate was presented on Monday, August 7, 2017 to the Operations Manager of the Liberia YMCA, Mr. A Marcus Freeman.

Presenting the certificate, Mallay T Wennah, Social Impact Focal Person under the Liberia Strategic Analysis at USAID recounted the role YMCA Liberia played in the placement and mentor-ship of young people under the program, when two persons were placed in the monitoring and Evaluation unit of the Liberia YMCA.

She thanked YMCA for the role the institution played during the mentor-ship program. The certificate was received by Mr. A. Marcus Freeman, Acting Operations Manager of the Liberia YMCA. Mr. Freeman thanked USAID Liberia for the recognition noting USAID pivotal role in the development of young people in Liberia and the YMCA is pleased to worked with USAID Liberia.
